My workshop is located in Stow, Massachusetts in what was once an apple orchard. It’s situated in a peaceful setting with lots of natural light and an abundance of songbirds.

Since the time that it was first built in the late 1990s, my workshop has become more than just a place to make flutes —  it has become an amazing space to do my work, to connect with people, and to create the energy that becomes part of my flute making.

The first piece that went into my shop was a workbench made for me by a family in Germany. This is where I started carving the first flutes I made and discovering the techniques that worked for me. I’ve sat at this bench from early morning to late in the evening hours, my Bernese Mountain dogs by my side, while developing more passion for flute making each day.

Over the years, I have continued working at this same bench but now my shop is home to many more woodworking tools. It has also become a wonderful meeting place for other flute enthusiasts to share our knowledge and passion for flutes — at one time home to the Woodland Flute Circle gathering.

The flutes created in this space have now reached people in many states as well as several countries around the world. I invite people to contact me if they are in the area and would like to visit my workshop.
